In the Q&A portion of the hangout, a webmaster asked John Mueller a question about hosting and how it affects crawl efficiency.
The question was—does hosting with shared hosting, VPS, etc. impact the efficiency of how Google crawls the site?
John’s answer was no—the type of hosting you do does not have any effect on the efficiency or amount of crawling that Google can do.
But it is possible to have bad hosting or slow hosting. It’s not an attribute of a specific kind of hosting.
