One SEO professional was curious about an issue they have with pages not indexed.
They have approximately 42 landing pages that were created dynamically. And they had asked John a few weeks ago for help on this because they were not indexed.
Out of those 42, only about six of them were indexed.
They are ranking well, they are getting the traffic, and all is good.
But, then the other 95 percent of them were crawled and discovered but not indexed for about six to eight weeks. So they are wondering what they are doing wrong.
John explained that he cannot promise they will be indexed at some point in the future. Google just doesn’t index everything from all websites.
However, he is happy to pass these on to the team to see if there is any kind of a general problem on Google’s side that they need to look at.
He wanted to emphasize that it’s important to understand that Google doesn’t guarantee that they will crawl and index everything on the web.

If you can drop some URLs, maybe with the keyword discovered, not crawled or not indexed into the chat? I can pull that out afterwards and take a look at that.

Yeah, those are, I just added a few of those URLs. And, yeah, like I said, they’ve been crawled but not not indexed for about six to eight weeks, more or less.

Yeah. And I mean, I can’t promise that they’ll be indexed at some point in the future. We just don’t index everything from all websites. But I’m happy to pass these on to the team to see if there’s any kind of a general problem on our side that we need to look at there.
