Today’s question is: What is the difference between organic SEO and local SEO? OK. Organic SEO refers to basically all of the ways that you can do SEO in the organic search results on Google, everything that is not an ad buy or based on PPC or other types of advertising—that is considered organic SEO.
Local SEO has a strict localization focus.
So anything that is being SEO’d for, say, Orange County, California, or Sarasota, Florida, or Seattle, Washington, for example, that is local SEO.
And it is a strict location-focused based on that location only.
So keywords, content, and links, and all sorts of good SEO stuff like that for the local SEO part are all focused on that specific location.
That’s it for today’s Ask an SEO episode 13.
